How much do partner businesses donate?

Partner businesses provide in-kind donations for up to six family vacations each year. However, families build their own vacations, so participating businesses may be selected by every family, or just a few. In any case, Sevier County Shares works with our partners to ensure that no business is overly burdened during the year.

What criteria is considered when granting a child and family a vacation?

Sevier County Shares works with the Social Work team at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital to identify eligible patients between the ages of 3 and 18 who are undergoing long-term, frequent medical treatments at the hospital.

Does Sevier County Shares work with other hospitals as well?

Not yet. Sevier County Shares has been fortunate to work with East Tennessee Children’s Hospital as our local hospital partner to date. As we grow the number of Sevier County Shares business partners, we look forward to working with other hospitals in the region to provide more vacations to children and families.
